Meat the team

Meet some of the members that make up our highly professional team.

The Chairman of the Trust is Frank Laine and the Vice Chairman is Connetable Dan Murphy. Other members of the Board of Trustees are Dr Nigel Minihane, Anton Skinner and Conrad Coutanche.

Michael AronsohnMichael Aronsohn – Programme Director

Mike has worked in the field of drug and alcohol addiction for over 20 years. Before this he had a business background and uses skills from both fields to manage the treatment programme and his team of staff. He trained in addiction studies in both the UK and the US receiving his accreditation from the Hazelden Foundation the foremost addiction training establishment in the world.

 

Jason WyseJason Wyse – Chief Executive Officer

Jason brings with him a wealth of business experience having worked in the Finance Industry for 17 years covering all aspects of financial requirements and is an enthusiastic member of our team. Jason's main responsibilities are to ensure the smooth running of the group from a financial and operational perspective, whilst giving particular attention to the promotion and awareness of the group.

 

Ruth Vaughton Ruth Vaughton – Deputy Programme Director

Ruth has a degree in Social Work and Welfare Studies from the University of Central Lancashire. She began working with substance misusers and their families in Hindley Young Offenders Institute in 2001 and went on to become a treatment Manager of a drug and alcohol programme for adult offenders. Ruth has a wealth of experience in a variety of settings and continues her counselling studies.

 

Chris HallChris Hall – Senior Counsellor

Chris was born in Liverpool but has been a resident in Jersey for over ten years. He has experience in working and dealing with young people and families with a wide spectrum of social problems. Chris is a highly valued member of our team with great interpersonal skills. He also continues with his ongoing studies in counselling.

 

Adrian Le CorreAdrian Le Corre – House Manager

Adrian has been a member of the team since early 2008 and now manages our secondary treatment at West Park Avenue. Adrian also brings with him his own personal experience in alcoholism and therefore understands the impact the illness has on individuals. Adrian is a valued member of the team and assists in helping clients rebuild their lives.

 

Manuel PitaManuel Pita – Chef

Manuel has been the chef at Silkworth Lodge for more that two years and has brought with him his experience working in first class restaurants throughout Jersey. Manuel understands the importance of good nutrition being a vital part of recovery.

 

Also we are supported by the administration team, the support workers and ancillary staff who are the backbone of what we do on a daily basis.
